Departure: Cambodia. Arrival: Atlanta.

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. - Philippians 1:6

Yesterday, our first shipment of totes and beverage sleeves left Phomn Penh, Cambodia en route to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. And, today we welcomed them to Atlanta, GA.

What a journey this has been!  From a vision placed in Jen's heart to the arrival of our 17 shipping boxes, the hand of God has orchestrated everything.  The work continues and we believe that He will complete it.

It has been journey of firsts -- our first import and customs lesson. Although there were many unknowns and lessons learned,  we made it smoothly through the process.  Thank you so much for your prayers.

It only took three cars (two SUVs and a Prius) to get all of our boxes.

The first time we opened one of our boxes of merchandise from Cambodia.

As we opened each of the boxes, the reality of our adventure became ever more apparent with each bag and sleeve that we pulled out.  "Are we really doing this?"  Oh yes, we are...and it is going to be amazing!

Our prayer is that this adventure touch lives, impact hearts, give love, bring hope, and show Jesus to the world.

A special thank you to Pastor Troy of Rehoboth for your prayers and your support!
As Erin's little boy, Joe, says...."Let's do this!"

LifeTotes En Route

For the past three weeks, the LifeTotes team has been working very hard to secure the final details for our first LifeTotes order.  This is a HUGE moment for this ministry/company. After much anticipation, and a few minor bumps in the road, the first shipment of totes is in route to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson airport and should arrive on Wednesday of next week. Please pray that they will arrive in a timely manner and that the import tax will not be overwhelming and that the customs process would flow smoothly. Since this is the first shipment we are not sure what all is involved.

We are praying for Sothea, our bag maker in Cambodia and are also so grateful for the women that work alongside and in partnership with her to hand make these bags. The women are mothers, wives, widows, grandmothers. They are beautiful in God’s sight and we pray that the Lord will continue to grow LifeTotes so that we can continue to provide for others.

I’m attaching a few pictures that were sent to us by Trevor, the consultant in Cambodia of the bags getting ready to be shipped.

LifeTotes (Dump Site) School - Cambodia

"But I would have you (to be) without carefulness"....1 Corinthians 7:32 a

I came across this verse in my Daily Light just a few weeks before flying to Cambodia. We had intended to have the bags shipped, with our consultant in Phnom Penh handling the details, saving us the expense of a trip. This was the best business decision, it was careful. When I read this verse, I felt like God was asking us, “What would you do if you weren’t being careful?”. My reply, “I would go!”.  His counter, “Make this decision based on how much you believe I love you.” …..So the Lifetotes team acted decisively, and decided that I should go. If we had not have made that decision, we would have never been a part of helping build a school that would change the trajectory of a village forever. Thank you to everyone who contributed, I cannot say it better than Sihok, so I will let him say it best:
